Prayer
Without prayer support, Makarios cannot be successful. Please pray for God's direction, strength, and provision for our ministry in the Dominican Republic.

Donations
Makarios gratefully accepts both monetary and material donations. Financial support is used to buy educational and vocational training materials, Bibles, and other project supplies, and to support Makarios' staff. Makarios also welcomes donations of laptops, printers, Spanish language books, and language neutral educational software. All donations are tax-deductible, and checks (made out to Makarios) and supplies can be send to the Austin address lied on our homepage. Missions Teams
Makarios often takes groups to the D.R. to work and to learn about Dominican life and culture. If you are interested in gathering a group from your church or school to visit the D.R., or if you are an individual interested in joining a Makarios missions team, we invite you to share your time and talents with the children and communities Makarios serves.

Internship Program
The Makarios internship program is a flexible program tailored to meet each student's academic and spiritual needs. We welcome students with from a variety of majors to join us for a summer or more in the Dominican Republic. For additional information about involvement opportunities with Makarios, please contact Sharla. 2008 Summer Internships begin May 26th and July 14th.
